Bill and Ted's Excellent Adventure

Are you ever in the mood for a movie that does not require much thought, so that you can just sit back, relax, and get a mental break from reality? Bill and Ted’s Excellent Adventure is an excellent movie that one does not need to exercise their brain activity very much, without having to resort to a children’s movie. That being said, this movie is also appropriate for the younger crowd; normally it is hard to find a movie you will enjoy while having to take into consideration if your kids can watch it too. Bill (Alex Winter) and Ted (Keanu Reeves) are two friends whose only goals is to make it through high school and learn how to play the guitar so that people will actually be able to stand listening to them play. There is only one problem, the duo is about to be split up. Unless they pass their next presentation in history class, they will fail; in which case Ted’s father will send him to military school. The future looks bleak, being that the two have to do an entire semester’s worth of learning in such a short amount of time; and both being almost brain-dead does not help much either. A new hope arises when a mysterious man, Rufus, shows up claiming to be from the future, and that the music that Bill and Ted will make will have a major impact on how everything functions in the future; which kind of won’t happen if they are separated. Rufus lets Bill and Ted use his time machine to go back in time to get everything they need for their presentation. Talk about going above and beyond! Bill and Ted definitely have and excellent adventure, with a few laughs along the way.
