Average Men

The story of the men who revolutionized the internet and the way that we shop online, the movie Middle Men, though funny at times could have been much better. The film attempts to depict the lives of the two men who came up with the idea of bringing "XXX (porn) to the World Wide Web" and at the same time invented the program that makes it possible for a credit card to be used to make purchases online from any place in the world. The story is not centered around these two though but more so the man who helped them turn their idea into a multi-million dollar business that is the basis for all purchases that we make over the internet. This was a great storyline for a movie, lots of money, crazy parties, cool cars, everything that we love, the problem was that the movie seemed to drag on for hours because of its repetitiveness though it was less than two hours. Luke Wilson, famous for his role in old school, did a good job playing his part as the main character; I felt he fit the part perfectly, as he saved himself and the business from interesting situations dealing with the mob to underage women. Also James Caan, known for his roles in Elf, The Godfather, and the TV Show Las Vegas, plays a major role in this movie as the bad guy, and does a good job at it. Overall I give this movie a 6.5 out of 10. It was entertaining and funny at times, but it is over all just another average movie.
