Limitless

Ever wonder what you could do with your life if you used all 100% of your brain? Though this is currently impossible, the movie Limitless provides a thrilling platform to experience the powers of the brain. Struggling writer Eddie Morra (Bradley Cooper) is at a dead end in his life with no inspiration, a girlfriend who just dumped him and a career going down the drain. When he bumps into the brother of his ex-wife, who looks 10 times better than he did a few months ago, Eddie can’t help but to find out the secret to his success. Eddie quickly learns that the magic comes from a powerful little pill called EZT that enables you to recall any information that you have ever absorbed or even skimmed with little to no effort, whenever you wanted to.

This drug causes one to become extremely perceptive, and in turn getting anything they want, with a deadly price. Eddie becomes wildly addicted to this drug and it begins to deteriorate all aspects of his life. The visual affects in this film are extremely entertaining and take the audience to a place of fantasy and imagination. This film captures what can happen when we risk our health to have the perfect life, and the dangerous side affect that come with that. I would definitely recommend this film to all teenagers and adults looking for a feel good well thought out thriller. Limitless is a film that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end, and will have you leaving the movie theater smiling.
